We opened our doors when Florida International University did—in 1972. The graduate school was named formally in 2001 as the Chapman Graduate School of Business and the undergraduate school was named officially in 2004 as the Landon Undergraduate School of Business.
The College of Business Administration, Florida International University, is headquartered at Modesto A. Maidique Campus, 11200 S.W. 8th Street, College of Business Complex, Suite 300, Miami, Florida 33199-0001.

Collectively, our faculty represent expertise, practical business experience, and cultural diversity of enormous range.

Real student success stories from our on-campus program

VP, Human Resources

While I have been in Human Resource Management for many years, obtaining my MSHRM degree was a personal goal for me. FIU's accelerated program allowed me to accomplish this goal in just twelve months. The lock-step program in designed so that you can partner with the same group of professionals throughout the year. I travel extensively and was still able to manage the communications with my team and deliver on the weekly assignments. The professors are professional and knowledgeable about our field. Although completing my Master's degree was challenging, the accomplishment was well worth the investment.

The Master of Science in Human Resource Management at Florida International University's School of Business is state of the art. The delivery of its intense curriculum by a team of dedicated faculty staff is of high quality. The management of the program is very hands on and as a student you feel the program's staff right there alongside you every week throughout the program. And, the relationship doesn't end at graduation, as it goes beyond by engaging the students through e-mail communication updates and networking opportunities. The program is very well known throughout the Human Resources community and is highly valued in the area of professional development. The one-year program is a vigorous academic training that fully exposes its students to all the elements of the human resources management process and is immediately applicable in practical terms to HR practitioners. The concept of Cohorts lends for a long term relationship amongst its graduates for many years beyond graduation and is an instant topic of discussion when graduates of the program reconnect down the road in their careers and HR professionals events. I'm extremely proud to be a graduate of this program.
